Acclaimed Fashion Designer and ETAF Ambassador Zac Posen Donates Gown to Kick Off the Partnership
Los Angeles, CA - November 29, 2018 — High fashion resale website LuxAnthropy announces a new partnership with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) and American fashion designer Zac Posen, Ambassador for The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. The partnership, launching in honor of World AIDS Day 2018, will begin with the sale of the first of many gowns, with a percentage of the proceeds going towards the Foundation.
The stunning, limited-edition, midnight navy embroidered evening gown from the Zac Posen Resort 2018 Collection retails for $6,990, and will sell on LuxAnthropy.com for $2,450. The breathtaking, floor- sweeping, double bonded crepe gown features a high neck and cap sleeves in a trumpet silhouette with crystal floret embroidery in pink, blue, silver and gold. The donated proceeds from the sale of this gown will have a powerful impact, providing ETAF-supported programs with the funds to administer more than 550 HIV tests free-of-charge.
Zac Posen stated: “I could not be more proud to be an ETAF Ambassador, and for World AIDS Day 2018, I’m thrilled to be donating this first special gown being sold on LuxAnthropy to support the life-saving work ETAF has done around the world for more than 25 years. In the words of Elizabeth Taylor: “Give. Remember always to give. That is the thing that will make you grow."
“We are grateful to our Ambassador, Zac Posen, for introducing us to LuxAnthropy and for his dedication to The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. We are excited about his commitment to this new partnership, using his amazing creations to help serve my grandmother’s vision of an AIDS-free world,” stated Quinn Tivey, Elizabeth Taylor’s grandson and ETAF Officer.
“As World AIDS Day 2018 kicks off, LuxAnthropy is proud to partner with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation to raise funds year-round to support their incredibly important HIV education and advocacy programs.” says co-founder Jennifer Hillman, “Not only is Zac one of the most talented American designers working today, he is also one of the most compassionate.
